Your child will make a leap in brain development and will ask grittier and more complicated questions about their family story, including questions about DNA and their donor.

They will also start to feel things more intensely and may have deeper and more complex emotions about their origins.

In the workshop you will learn the research on the range of psycho- emotional reactions children experience about their dc origin story.

Our workshops aims to:

  • Teach you proven techniques for helping your children work through their complex and often contradictory emotions.

  • We share scripts and practical tips for answering your child’s tricky questions, such as ‘who is my donor?’ and ‘can I meet my donor?’

  • We coach you to explain the science underlying DNA in child appropriate terms and answer your child’s questions about their genetics.
